Was eagle scout project final work day when he delivered and put together the benches he made from a hand-built form and many pounds of concrete mixed by hand and boards of pressure treated lumber
It began as an educational summer project for the kids and now it's become part of life. Can I just say, in the singing voice of Kip Dynamite, "I love technology."

Oldies but goodies
Well, except for the really bad hair and jean skirt on me, yikes. Handsome hubby and cute kids though!
Jack's last day of school
The senior tradition is to ride bikes to school on the last day and Jack's own tradition is to wear something memorable. I stopped by the high school parking lot to snap this pic of him hauling his friends' bikes that day and got escorted away like a troublemaker by an assistant principal who seemed pretty stressed out by a kid turning his truck bed into a swimming pool. I thought the pool was a fun idea myself, but the administrators did not and even called the cops in, and I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Addendum to the Prom pictures
This was at a friend's home before Prom. Local tradition is kids gather in groups to have their parents take pictures. It was quite a scene and really fun to be in the middle of.
Major catch up to do
This was from April when Jack went to his senior prom. This is his long-time friend Jess and his date Maddie. He now owns his own suit. And hot pink accessories.
