Only way Mom gets to be in a picture and Devil's Stand Tower
It began as an educational summer project for the kids and now it's become part of life. Can I just say, in the singing voice of Kip Dynamite, "I love technology."

A great meal on lava rocks
With a great son at the end of a great day with awesome friends at an awesome place
Me and Jack
Lori and Doug
Trails End Lodge
Cobden Illinois
Jack goes to college
And this was my view for two hours, seeing him driving away ahead of me. It was agony even though I told myself it really wasn't. He's going to a great place to do great things, why would I be sad about that? But you know, I can tell you a mom's heart does not always work logically.
Grant in 11th grade
With a catydid at the ice cream stand taken way past the morning of the first day of school with Ruby the truck in the background
I'll take "Things you might see at a Junk Yard" for $500, Alex
A limo Cadillac with bull horns
Taken the day we bought three wrong tires for Jack's truck. Two tries and the kid still has no spare tire.
Hey y'all watch this/the night blood was drawn
Gary put Bob on Grant. But it turned out to be Gary that got bloody. Right as I took this picture Bob panicked, leapt and flew with claws extended.
My friends in South Carolina
The couple in the back graciously hosted us three girls, even driving us to and from the Jacksonville FL airport two hours away so we could get a bargain flight and no rental car. Maybe that's why they look grouchy, ha. No, they just had no warning I was snapping a pic and honestly, we were alI getting a little hot and tired at this point walking around Savannah.
Their new house in Bluffton was great. I loved their screen porch so much, that's where I slept.
My trip to South Carolina
Included a day in Savannah GA
I loved all the trees and town squares and historical sites.
The street shown is made from the ballast that the British ships carried.

Look-a-Like
This is the post office in Highland. When I walked in, it was complete deja vu from all the times walking into the one at Flora. The interior doors were the same including the weird turns required to get in, the wood, the metal, the counter--seriously, the whole interior was as much the same as any interior could be.
I commented to the girl behind the counter about this and she said there are two other post offices she knew of that are identical to the Highland one and I only remember her saying one was Greenville's. I'm gonna have to go walk into it just to walk into it.
