It began as an educational summer project for the kids and now it's become part of life. Can I just say, in the singing voice of Kip Dynamite, "I love technology."

Day#12
I didn't realize until today that I only have to go as far as Vandalia to get to the New York Center. Who knew?

Day#12
The only picture I took for our family Thanksgiving get together today was of these cuties. I'm waiting for Ross to send me the official group photograph. He's waiting for his $99.

Day#9
I was in Goodwill yesterday looking for things to decorate the laundry room when I found this. Instant flashback to when I would check this double album out from the library Summer 1977 and listen to Daybreak and Mandy to my heart's content. I think I had forgotten Easy Listening was ever one of my accepted genres.

Day#5
Gary helped me recover the benches. No more dirt and magic marker! He was a big help, but doing this job sure made me miss my grandma. She's the one I did it with last time, a long time ago; I think it was about 1997. She was really good with fabric and knowing how to do things. One time I brought her a big fancy but ratty lampshade I liked and expected her to make it beautiful. We tore off the old material and she constructed a new one to fit the curvy metal which was pretty complicated. Not sure I grasped at that time just what I had asked of her but that was the thing, all I had to do was ask and she'd do anything for me.
