Jack's birthday! We celebrated number 17 with a beef Manhattan lunch (again this year!) and DQ cookie dough ice cream cake. Gifts with the family will happen this weekend when we finally have some time that we are all home together because that definitely isn't the case today or in the next couple of days.
But luckily, he didn't have to wait on Ross' gift. It did confuse Jack as it did me because we didn't really know who the painting was of, but Ross said it was John Wayne. And when we googled John Wayne images, this one was the first that came up and it is identical in pose, hat, and neckerchief. The artist kinda missed the mark on facial features but oh well, nice of Ross to buy it for Jack. Notice it's signed! Ha
