I wasn't even trying for a red, white, and blue anything, but here's a shot of my lunch dessert today. Jack had been requesting homemade cheesecake since summer. He's had a few rough weeks lately and feeling overwhelmed with everything he's got going on, so I thought this was a good time to try it. We all thought it was good but needed just a little more something to be perfect. Guess I'll be making another one or more until I get it figured out and it's just right.
