Celebrating with raw meat

Will & Jack

So we got to hang out with Jack's friend from Crete. Right away I could see they have some things in common, one of which is that intelligent/hilarious wit combination that makes them entertaining to listen to. Not to mention they're engineering nerds of the most lovable kind from a mom's point of view.

I dk, sometimes Gary's hard to read

That's our boy!

Honors in Engineering

So cool when your son is already considered a sophomore after one semester of college and receives an award for his excellent grade point average and has the largest belt buckle of all his peers.

Yesterday on our way to see Jack

Round man on a very high and steep roof

So following our crazy hail storm in March, it seems like now everybody is getting new roofs, including us. Seeing this one as we drove by worried me so of course I had to do the only thing I knew to do and take a picture.

Chenille Plant

We both love looking at plants and with this one, Ross was fascinated from a distance at Market Basket, but it totally freaked him out once he got up close.

Plus, all he wants to talk about is his Persian Shield, haha.

All Touchy Feely

Bob likes to hold hands with Gary during my nightly foot rub.

Grant is SPL

Grant was elected Senior Patrol Leader by all his fellow scouts and his first duty was a biggie, serving as MC of the Court of Honor.  He did a great job and here he's presenting his Scoutmaster/Dad with two awards, which was a huge surprise for both parties and the audience.

Things I Google--Mead??

Mead is an alcoholic beverage created by fermenting honey with water, sometimes with various fruits, spices, grains, or hops. The alcoholic content ranges from about 8% ABV to more than 20%.
