Grandma and Grandpa came to the boys' jazz band concert last night. Very cool!
It began as an educational summer project for the kids and now it's become part of life. Can I just say, in the singing voice of Kip Dynamite, "I love technology."

Day#155
Last night we headed to the mall to find Grant a black fedora for the jazz band performance coming up this week. We were so successful there, we had to send out requests for opinions in order to narrow down the pictured choices. Caroline had a friend along and I can absolutely verify: pre-teen girls get pretty goofy.
Day#154
Lots has been going on lately, especially with the boys it seems. We've had more formal wear than usual, that's for sure.
The older boys had a band concert performance last week, which was so impressive btw, and then of course Jack going to prom (in Gary's suit but his own vest he's had since his 4th grade Henry Ford project and I am not kidding : / and Grant is wearing/rocking a suit of Ross'). Sam and Gary had a campout all this weekend; no formal wear there, but quite a notable kool-aid moustache. Jack and I popped by to visit since they were local, and we can tell you, Sam was having a ball.

Day#153
The other day the kids were talking about seasons and asked my favorite. I really couldn't decide between spring and fall; there's so much I enjoy about both. But scenes like this definitely have me leaning towards spring at the moment.
