Background info: Ross and I were cleaning up the huge kitchen mess from tonight's pasta supper. He had brought watermelon and pumpkin pie over for dessert, and the leftover watermelon carcass reminded him of a bike helmet and once he mentioned that, I said, "Come here, Sam!" knowing we would have a willing participant. I had the Saran Wrap already in my hands from putting away the leftovers and it just all came together beautifully.
Ross was concerned that the weight of the melon helmet might be too much for Sam's neck but no worries, Sam was able to ride his bike down the street and back with no problem other than a deer running out in front of him. Not kidding.
