Friday Fun Facts by Jack

About the Okapi





                  They are a mix of zebra, giraffe, and horse.



                  They are from the Congo in Africa.



                  They weigh between 450-550 pounds.



                  Their tongues are black and very long.



                  They can lick their eyelids.




                  This one at the St. Louis Zoo was wearing a muzzle, but we didn't know why.

                  This is a new dessert that I whipped up this week.


                  • Take a few scoops of strawberry or cherry Jello.

                  • Put whipped cream on top.

                  • Add chocolate syrup over the whole thing, but not too much. A skinny drizzle is perfect.

                  • Add a cherry on top.

                  Delicious, sweet goodness has landed!

                  And Jack's friendly wisdom of the week:

                  Remember, licking doorknobs on other planets can be illegal.
